Elizabeth Hurley to Join Gossip Girl

While the cancellation of the project Wonder Woman has confirmed that Elizabeth Hurley will not be competing against her, however, it is certain that Hurley will have to face an stiff fashionable competition.



Liz Hurley was chosen to act for the role of super-vixen Veronica Cale in the NBC project Wonder Woman that failed to contemplate.



Now she has been roped in to play a gig on Gossip Girl.

 


Hurley is 46 years old and she will have to tackle the Upper East Side while competing with its flashiest residents as she will appear in the fifth season of Gossip Girl which has been scheduled to premiere on Sept. 26.



Elizabeth Hurley will appear on a multi-episode story arc.



Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran are the executive producers of the show.

The producers have confirmed that Liz Hurley will be playing the role of Diana Payne, “a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with.”



The character of Diana Payne to be played by Elizabeth Hurley, will leave a strong mark over the other characters of the show and even the mysterious Gossip Girl will also be influenced by this character.
